Moving Upstream Together: Furthering Your Vision for Child & Family Well-Being with Free Technical Assistance

Strategies TA is a technical assistance provider funded by the Office of Child Abuse Prevention. This webinar will describe their current menu of free consulting services for family resource centers, community-based organizations, child abuse prevention councils, and county collaboratives. These services are aligned with the larger California prevention movement and include support for advancing robust community pathways, connecting prevention-focused organizations statewide, and elevating tribal and community voice. 

Participants will:

  • Identify specific strategies to integrate the voice of families and youth with lived expertise in your work and community to elevate prevention programs and services
  • Understand the supports that Strategies TA can provide to further your prevention efforts
  • Identify organizational and/or community areas of need that align with the Strategies TA menu of services
  • Find out how to request service and expected next steps

Who Should Attend: Staff in leadership roles in family resource center (FRCs) and networks, child abuse prevention councils (CAPCs) and CAPC networks, community-based organizations, county collaboratives, and other child- and family-serving systems

Important Training Information: This is an interactive training. Please be prepared to participate in activities such as group discussion, break out rooms, and/or demonstration. Your training experience will be best with the use of a web cam, audio, and a training environment conducive to active participation. This training will be recorded. The recording will be available to registered learners within 2 days of the training.
